Vintage Look Nails with HITS Dionisio and Cult Nails Manipulative

Hello!

Thankyou so much for the response to my giveaway! I'm so super excited about it :)

Today I have this vintage inspired mani to show you which I did using Cult Nails - Manipulative and HITS  - Dionisio. I am SO IN LOVE with both of these polishes. Manipulative is like.. the perfect sea blue/green colour with just a hint of shimmer and the best formula ever. Dionisio is a beautiful purple holo - quite similar to Colour Club - Wild at Heart but a lot more holo-y (is that a word?)

I stamped with an image from Konad M56 using Konad Special Stamping Polish in white. Then I did the dots with a dotting tool and China Glaze - Manhunt from the On Safari collection. :)

You can get HITS from Llarowe and Cult Nails here.

Thanks for reading! I hope you all have a lovely Wednesday :)

Spring Flowers

We finally have some sunshine! HOORAY! It's so beautiful here I wanted to do some colourful, happy nails to match. I used HITS - Salsa which I bought from Llarowe on a whim when I purchased another polish and it turned out to be AMAZING! A gorgeous pink with lots of lovely flakies in it. Great formula too!!! I also used Butter London - Henley Regatta. This polish is pretty but a bit annoying. It took five coats to get it this opaque. This is a £16 polish, I don't expect it to be so sheer for £16. Not cool. It's still beautiful though. Check out that green and blue glitter! I can almost forgive it.

I stamped with an image from my new DRK A plate which I bought from the fabulous Ninja Polish and then dotted with China Glaze - Shower Together and OPI -Did It On 'Em.

What do you think? I loooveeee them! :) I hope you're having a wonderful day!

Fun with neons!!

Hello everyone! How are you all? Well I hope :)

I wanted to do something colourful and fun so I did this mismatched mani with the most exciting colours I could find. The pointer finger is OPI - Did It On 'Em from the Niki Minaj collection (I have no idea who Niki Minaj is but I love the colour!) with Essie - Bossa Nova. I cut out some sticky labels with craft scissors and used those as a guide. As you can see it looked better from afar than close up. The middle finger is Illamasqua - Load stamped with an image from my DRK plate and then dotted with Essie Bossa Nova and China Glaze - Turned up Turquoise. The ring finger is the totally stunning Illamasqua - Nomad with Nailventurous - Floam sponged on the tips. I think this is my favourite nail! I just LOVE this combo. The little finger is Sinful Colors - Island Coral stamped with an image from a plate I won from a giveaway over at the super wonderful Bunny Nails. <3

What do you think? I kind of love them! :)

HITS Moonbow with Zoya Lotus and 2True shimmery green

Hi Lovelies. I'm just getting back into posting after finally finishing all my final year work! Hooray!!! It was a slog, but now I have a degree! All that's left is to find out what class of degree. I'm hoping it's a first. I've worked my butt off for a first, but if it's not... well... nothing I can do now! C'est la vie and all that.

So today I'm going to show you the STUNNING HITS Moonbow layered over Zoya Lotus. Moonbow is beautiful duochrome glitter. My relationship with HITS is officially healed after the hated Powerpuff Girls polishes turned me off them for a good while. This polish is just stunning. It goes from purple to green in different lights. It's fab!!!

The other nails, which are actually green but end up looking blue with the addition of navy blue stamping is Shade 49 from 2True beauty Nailwear. These polishes are super cheap and really surprisingly awesome for cheap drugstore polishes that don't even have names! 49 is a beautiful, shimmery sea green which applies really well and is really interesting to look at - quite complex really. I'm really surprised by the quality of these polishes.

I stamped with Konad Special Stamping Polish and an image from my Dashica SDP A big plate. LOVE!

Sorry about the tipwear and cuticles. My nails need some serious pampering - I just haven't had time recently with all my workkkk! Aghhr!

Thanks for looking!

Summery nails for a miserable May

Hello lovely readers,

Today I have a pretty, summery mani; a massive juxtoposition to the horrid miserable rain outside. Booooo! I might do a rainy mani next to make me feel better. Weather like this normally makes me want to jump in puddles and play in the mud, but right now I'm feeling a bit meh. So to cheer myself up I did this!

I used Orly - Snowcone and China Glaze - Optical Illusion with Konad Stamping polish in white  for the stamping. Over the blue I put a layer of Girly Bits - Cosmic Ocean which I won in a giveaway from the lovely Traci at The Trace Face Philes. I got this one and Promise Me which i'll show you another time :)

Cosmic Ocean doesn't show up too well over lighter colours so you can just see a hint of it in the pictures. Orly Snowcone might be the most perfect periwinkle blue ever. Blue is one of my favourite colours for polish. I think I own more blues than any other colour except maybe green. The formula is stunning and the colour is that perfect kind of warm blue. I love it!! The image is from Konad M85. I think it's one of my favourite images. Perfect size for a full nail and really delicate.

Thankyou for looking! I hope you're having a lovely day!

Bears and Hearts with Revlon Grape Fizz

Hello. Just a quick post today, that's all I have time for. Booo.

This is Revlon - Grape Fizz which is a beautiful purple jelly with all kinds of shimmery flakie goodness going on in it... oh and it smells like grapes! Well...a sort of approximation of grapes which is actually nothing like grapes but is still kind of awesome anyway.

I did some nail art over the top of it, using China Glaze - White on White, China Glaze - Electric Beat, A-england - Lancelot and Model's Own - Sophie's Pink. These pictures are after a couple of days so please excuse the tipwear.

What do you think?

HITS Hera with kitties and pawprints

Hello! Today I have the stunningly beautiful HITS - Hera to show you! YAYY!!! I wanted this polish for SUCH a long time so I snapped it up as soon as it became available on Llarowe. I also managed to get some pictures of it in the sun! YAY! SUN! (We're not getting much of that at the moment... i'm a bit sun-deprived)

I stamped the kitties using Konad Special Stamping Polish in white and then did the little paws with a dotting tool and my go to white China Glaze - White on White.

Look at the holo-y goodness! I must say that the No-Olimpio collection from HITS has a much better formula that the Powerpuff Girls polishes which just filled me with sadness and rage because whilst they're amazing colours, the formulas and brushes suck. The holos however, glide on like magical, sparkly butter.

Do you own any HITS polishes? What do you think of them?

Thanks for looking xxx
